The Life You Can Save

Today's post will be short, and the only goal is to direct you to other places.

Last Friday I recommended looking into the works of Peter Singer, but didn't give firm advice of where to start. What was I thinking! His book, "The Life You Can Save" was just released for free on audiobook with an all-star cast reading the chapters, including Kristen Bell, Stephen Fry, and Paul Simon (plus even more impressive people who aren't entertainers, so you won't have heard of them).

Get the book here and listen. I know I will.

Remember, you don't have to single-handedly save the world, but you should at least consider where to start.

If you want some heterodox objections to some of Singer's opinions, he was interviewed on EconTalk this week as well, and on the whole I thought it was pretty entertaining.
