Hell Hath No Fury

This final hell hath no fury.
This is the hell of Jonathan Edwards,
And the worst of the Calvinists.
It is almost a vestigial hell, a relic
But it is the most evil of them all,
So it must be mentioned.
It is hell for all the fiery reasons of the others,
Indeed, it is the same hell as all the others.
But it is also the hell of predetermination.
Correctly, it knows our lack of free will,
And extends it so God knows all things.
What can we do to escape this hell?
Act rightly with James, have faith with Paul?
No, nothing, the damned are damned
And must be damned,
And this hell is the purest justice.
It takes a special kind of evil
To punish a child for something they can't control.
It takes a special kind of evil
To worship this system as perfect justice.
In the words of Edwards
"The seeing of the calamities of others
Tends to heighten the sense of our own enjoyments."
Infinite Schadenfreude,
That one can't truly know paradise
If you can't hear Anne Frank crying.
This is the most evil belief in the world.
Happily, this hell has become almost obsolete.
Now, it is finally time to eradicate the others.
