Exercise Journal

At first I thought Covid would give me incessant journaling material, but the truth is it's led to some great coverage by other people that I sometimes want to throw to, but even then feel like I can't contribute much if anything. So this post is a journal entry if ever there was one.
I've had a really hard time getting the exercise that I want to get lately. I've been spending way too much time in front of a screen and not even feeling bad about it, but deep down I know I want to do a lot more to keep my body in shape. I have some milk jugs I've filled with water and can use as weights, and I've got some good runs in this last week, but the runs are few and far between. I think the weather has really been my enemy this weekend: well below seasonal with lots of snow that just makes running unenticing. It's supposed to be positive every day this week so hopefully I can turn that around.
Anyway, just shouting that into the void here in the hope that it spurs me to new ways. Part of the purpose of this is just to keep me honest, surely. I like my screens, but when you're trapped inside all day you've got to find a balance.
