2019 was unsatisfying for me in some ways. It certainly left me a little frustrated by the end, lost in a pretty standard way for 25: worried about the future, unmotivated at work, thinking about all the normal stuff.

I'm not typically big on New Year's resolutions. It's one of the worst times to use the gym anyway, but there are a few things I wanted to mix up when I got the chance. It might not change certain ruts, but it might at least change the mindset. The first one is that I wanted to get this space where I would try to put out one piece of created content per day. Likely this will be a short paragraph on some observation in the day, but it could be anything, a picture, a poem... It's glorified journaling, but I've tried journaling before and I think this will work better. First off I like writing as if someone will read it, and while I'm not deluding myself that many will, it feels more genuine somehow. Also, this might add more motivation to keep me from cheating.

There's more to be said, but I'm going to need to learn to not say everything at once if I want these to be remotely palatable and if I still want to have anything to say in a few weeks. See you tomorrow for day two of this experiment.

Jasper
